Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of prepone.app and the PrepOne service (the “Service”), operated by Courtside Media LLC, doing business as PrepOne (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PrepOne turns a broadcaster's current-week source documents (rosters, depth charts, game notes, and similar materials) into an editable, source-backed spotting chart and related study tools. The Service is currently an early-stage product and is provided on an as-available basis; features may change, be added, or be removed.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We use passwordless “magic-link” email sign-in: to authenticate, you provide an email address and we email you a one-time sign-in link. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account you register and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@prepone.app if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Your content and source documents

You retain ownership of the documents and materials you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transform Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to build any other user's chart, and we do not sell Your Content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to upload Your Content and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights or any agreement you are bound by (including any data-use terms attached to purchased chart services).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any law or third-party right;
• upload material you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• resell or redistribute generated output in a manner that misrepresents its source or accuracy.

5. Accuracy and no warranty of fitness

PrepOne is designed to trace factual claims to source documents and to flag conflicts rather than silently resolve them, but generated output may contain errors and is not a substitute for your own verification. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Payments

Paid plans, if offered to you, are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record and handles billing, payment processing, and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's own terms. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Prices, plan tiers, and any figures shown on our marketing pages are subject to change and are not an offer until presented at checkout.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Courtside Media LLC and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepOne will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
